YFC Prayer Requests and Praises for September 1 - 7, 2015

Tuesday – Continue to pray for our Campus Life ministry in Bethlehem as we get ready to start Club this school year.  Pray for Jackie Nemec and me as we are recruiting, selecting and about to begin to train the ministry team of adult volunteers.

Wednesday – Pray for our staff as we gather this morning for our staff meeting. 

Continue to pray for our City Life ministry in Schenectady as they begin the transition from the summer schedule to school year schedule.

Thursday – Continue to pray for John Richmond and our Board of Directors.  Pray for our upcoming transition with the Executive Director position.  Pray for Andy Lightcap as he begins to enter into the Executive Director position.

Friday – Continue to pray for our Campus Life ministry in Scotia-Glenville.  Pray for Allen Bishop and the ministry team as they share Christ with middle and high school youth.

Saturday – Pray for our Campus Life ministry team in Cambridge as they get ready to relaunch their middle school and high school weekly club meetings later this month.  Pray for Scott Foyle as he serves part time with us in Cambridge.

Sunday – Continue to pray for the financial support of this ministry to be increased.  Pray for a strong giving month to make up the summer giving slump.

Monday – Continue to pray for the After School Program ministry which starts tomorrow

YFC Prayer Requests and Praises for August 25 - 31, 2015

Tuesday – Praise for the 100 plus men and women that participated in the golf tournament last week.  Praise for a sunny day to play golf and connect new people to the mission of Youth for Christ. 

Pray for our Campus Life ministry in Bethlehem as we get ready to start Club this school year.  Pray for Jackie Nemec and me as we are recruiting, selecting and about to begin to train the ministry team of adult volunteers.

Saturday – Pray for Scott Foyle and myself as we attend the training on the Alpha Youth Video Series at Christ the King Spiritual Life Center today.  Pray also for the other youth leaders that will be at this training and for the potential impact of this ministry in the Capital Region.

Sunday – Continue to pray for the financial support of this ministry to be increased.  July support was lower than we hoped and we need a strong August to make up the difference.

Monday – Continue to pray for the After School Program ministry getting ready to begin this school year.  Pray for us as we hire the right people to run this program for elementary and middle school aged youth.

YFC Prayer Requests and Praises for August 18 - 24, 2015

Tuesday – Thanks for your prayers for yesterday’s golf tournament.  (Praise report will be part of next week’s prayer email). 

Pray for our staff and ministry site leaders as they continue making plans for the upcoming school year.

Wednesday – Pray for our staff as we gather this morning for our staff meeting. 

Pray for our administrative team as they work on the day to day tasks that keep our ministry moving forward.

Thursday – Continue to pray for John Richmond and our Board of Directors.  Pray for our upcoming transition with the Executive Director position.

Friday – Continue to pray for the financial support of this ministry to be increased.  July support was lower than we hoped and we need a strong August to make up the difference.

Saturday – Pray for our effectiveness in ministry in all our ministry sites around the Capital District.   

Pray for more volunteers.  Praise God for our new volunteers that have joined us over the summer.

Sunday – Pray for Jackie Nemec and me as we meet with parents from the Bethlehem community to explain the ministry of Campus Life.

Praise God for the interest shown to begin an YFC ministry in East Greenbush after my update and sermon last Sunday. 

Monday – Pray for the After School Program ministry getting ready to begin this school year.  Pray for us as we hire the right people to run this program for elementary and middle school aged youth,

YFC Prayer Requests and Praises for August 11 - 17, 2015

Thanks for your prayers while I have been out of the office at YFC Camp and on vacation.

Tuesday – Pray for me this week as I settle back in to work and catch up on what has been happening the past few weeks. 

Pray also for our board of directors as they are interviewing candidates for the Executive Director position of our chapter tonight and tomorrow.  (I am one of those candidates).

Our current Executive Director, John Richmond will be serving with another ministry starting sometime in September.  Please be praying for John too.

Wednesday – Pray for our staff as we gather this morning for our staff meeting.  Pray for the staff  that are on vacation this week.

Thursday – Pray for a successful Golf Tournament happening this coming Monday.  Pray for good weather and for hearts to be open to supporting this ministry.

Friday – Pray for the financial support of this ministry to be increased.  July support was lower than we hoped and we need a strong August to make up the difference.

Saturday – Praise God for His work in the lives of teens this summer.

Sunday – Pray for me as I preach at my church this morning and give an update on YFC.

Monday – Pray again for our Golf Tournament happening today.
