YFC Prayer Requests and Praises for June 30 – July 6, 2015



Tuesday – Today is filled with meetings.  Pray for me to be fully present in each meeting whether it is in person, on the phone or through video conferencing.

Wednesday – Pray for our staff as we meet this morning for a time to pray with and for each other and study the scriptures.

Pray for the impact of the Gospel to be strong this summer at all the YFCamps.  I will be serving at one of these camps in July.

Thursday – Continue to ask God to bless this ministry with the financial resources needed to pay our bills and staff on time each pay period. Praise God for His provision during this past fiscal year (we begin a new fiscal year today).

Friday – Pray for our Executive Director, John Richmond and our Board of Directors.

Saturday – Pray for our staff as we begin the transition to our summer ministry schedules.
Pray for our volunteers who labor beside us in ministry.  Ask God to send even more volunteers to join our ministry teams.

Sunday – Praise God for my time at Sand Lake Baptist Church last Sunday.  Pray for your pastor and leaders in your church.

Monday – Continue to pray for our ministry teams throughout the greater Capital Region as each week we build relationships with teens and share the hope that comes from knowing God through Jesus.  Pray for our teams in Albany, Schenectady, Cambridge, East Dorset, Scotia-Glenville, Greenville, Clifton Park, Averill Park and Bethlehem.

YFC Prayer Requests and Praises for June 23 - 29, 2015



Tuesday – Praise God for a great week of vacation last week.  Pray for our staff that are taking vacation days this week.

Pray for the potential to increase our ministry in Albany to include the youth in the South End.

Pray for my meeting with Allen who leads our ministries in Scotia-Glenville and for my meeting with a youth leader from Colonie.

Wednesday – Pray for our staff as we meet this morning for a time to pray with and for each other and study the scriptures.

Pray for the impact of the Gospel to be strong this summer at all the YFCamps.  I will be serving at one of these camps in July.

Thursday – Pray for my meeting with Scott who leads our ministries in Cambridge.

Pray for our staff as we begin the transition to our summer ministry schedules.

Pray for our volunteers who labor beside us in ministry.  Ask God to send even more volunteers to join our ministry teams.

Friday – Pray for my time on a conference call with Executive Directors from other YFC chapters in NYS.

Pray for our Executive Director, John Richmond and our Board of Directors.

Saturday – Continue to ask God to bless this ministry with the financial resources needed to pay our bills and staff on time each pay period this year.  Praise God for His provision during this year (we begin a new fiscal year July 2015).

Sunday – Pray for me as I give an YFC update at Sand Lake Baptist Church this morning.  Praise God for all the years this group of believers have supported this ministry.

YFC Prayer Requests and Praises for June 9 - 22, 2015



June 9 – 15, 2015

Tuesday – Praise God for my time at Brunswick Church this past Thursday night and Sunday morning.  Praise God for the good conversations and connections.

Pray for me as I call some of our May Silent Auction guests tonight, pray that when I call, people will be available to talk.

Wednesday – Pray for the CDYFC staff as they come together this morning for our staff meeting.  Pray also for my meeting with our Executive Director, John Richmond this afternoon.

Thursday – Praise for the response to the anti-bullying program that was held last Thursday.
Pray for my meetings with the Campus Life staff as a team and individually today.

Pray for a good meeting with a local pastor scheduled for this afternoon.

Friday – Continue to ask God to bless this ministry with the financial resources needed to pay our bills and staff on time each pay period this year.  Praise God for His provision during the last 11 months. 

Saturday – Praise God for a great day with teens at the Edge Olympics this past Saturday.  There was good weather, no injuries and time with teens having fun and building on relationships. It is those strong relationships that create opportunities to hold the weight of the Gospel.
Praise God for the time with two partners in ministry that came to shoot free throws with me and raise money for this ministry. (I made 100 free throws in less than 30 minutes)

Sunday – Pray for Kelly and me as we begin a week of vacation together.  I am thankful for this time away from the day to day tasks and routines that this vacation will give us.

June 16 – 22, 2015

YFC Prayer Requests and Praises for June 2 - 8, 2015



Tuesday – Praise God for the ministry briefing this past Friday night and for my time at West Stephentown Baptist church on Sunday.

Pray for my meetings with the following staff today; Dave Lenehan, Jackie Nemec and Todd Hvizdak.

Wednesday – Pray for the CDYFC staff as they come together this morning for our staff meeting.  Pray also for my meeting with our Executive Director, John Richmond this afternoon.

Praise God for a potential new volunteer for our scotia-Glenville ministry.

Thursday – Pray for a great reception from the people attending our anti-bullying program being held today at our facility in Halfmoon.

Pray for my meeting with Allen Bishop today and for my time at Brunswick Church this evening.

Friday – Continue to ask God to bless this ministry with the financial resources needed to pay our bills and staff on time each pay period this year.  Praise God for His provision during the last 11 months. 

Saturday –Pray for our staff as they spend the morning with teens at our fundraising event today, Edge Olympics.  Pray for good weather and safety for all the teens participating in the competitions. 

Pray also for my time in the gym in the afternoon shooting free throws with a few friends and partners in ministry.

Sunday – Pray for me as I give an update on the YFC ministry at all three services at Brunswick Church this morning.  Praise God for the partnership we have this group of believers.

Monday – Continue to pray for our ministry teams throughout the greater Capital Region as each week we build relationships with teens and share the hope that comes from knowing God through Jesus.  Pray for our teams in Albany, Schenectady, Cambridge, East Dorset, Scotia-Glenville, Greenville, Clifton Park, Averill Park and Bethlehem.
