YFC Prayer Requests and Praises for March 31 – April 6, 2015

Tuesday – Pray for meetings this morning with Jackie Nemec, Bethlehem Campus Life Director and with a potential volunteer after my meeting with Jackie.

Continue to ask God to bless this ministry with the financial resources needed to pay our bills and staff on time each pay period this year.  Praise God for His provision during the last 8 months. (My ministry budget is behind where it should be coming out of February).

Wednesday – Pray for our staff as we meet this morning for our weekly staff meeting.  Pray for my meeting with a local youth leader this afternoon.

Pray with us at YFC as we are seeking God to lead us to the next person to become our Parent Life Director.

Thursday – Pray for my meeting this morning with Allen Bishop, Scotia-Glenville Campus Life Director.  Pray for my meeting with Sherri Hvizdak, Greenville Campus Life Director, Allen and Jackie as we also meet this morning to continue working on plans for the Lock In (April 17-18).

Friday – Pray for Kelly and me as we are making time to slow down and be quiet so we can listen to our Heavenly Father.

Praise God for His gift of salvation!

Saturday – I have been invited and accepted to attend a two day training in Denver in April that will help me grow in my role as a ministry coach.  Part of the money to cover this unexpected opportunity has been provided but not all.  Please pray with me for the remaining monies to be provided (about $350).    Pray also for me to find the time to effectively prepare for this training as there is some prep work that needs to be completed.

Sunday – Praise God!  Thank You Jesus! Come Holy Spirit! Lift up the name of Jesus with other followers of Jesus today.

Monday – Continue to pray for our ministry teams throughout the greater Capital Region as each week we build relationships with teens and share the hope that comes from knowing God through Jesus.  Pray for our teams in Albany, Schenectady, Cambridge, East Dorset, Scotia-Glenville, Greenville, Clifton Park, Averill Park and Bethlehem.

Pray for the staff and volunteers that will be taking extended time this week to be in relationship with teens.

YFC Prayer Requests and Praises for March 24 - 30, 2015

Tuesday – Pray for meetings tomorrow with Jackie Nemec, Bethlehem Campus Life Director, Steve Prettyman, Point Break Director, Rob Casey, one of the pastors at Life Church in Colonie and DeWayne Moore, YFC Soccer Ministry Director.

Praise God for a very good planning meeting last week for the May 2 Youth Leader Training day.

Praise God for the first CORE ministry meeting with teens last night in Averill Park.

Wednesday – Pray for our staff as we meet this morning for our weekly staff meeting.  Pray for Ray Lightcap, Spiritual Development Director, as he leads us in a Bible study and time of prayer.

Pray for Ruth Lightcap, Ray’s wife, who had a TIA last week.

Thursday – Pray for my meeting this morning with Allen Bishop, Scotia-Glenville Campus Life Director.

Pray also for my meeting with Sherri Hvizdak, Greenville Campus Life Director, Allen and Jackie as we meet on Thursday mornings to focus in on how to lead effective Campus Life ministry.

Friday – Pray for my meeting today with Andy Lightcap, Schenectady City Life Director.  Pray for us as we are seeking God to lead us to the next person to become our Parent Life Director.

Pray for my meeting tonight with some Christian adults to share the ministry of YFC and ask them to consider becoming involved as financial partners, volunteer or join a prayer team.

Tuesday – Pray for meeting this morning with Todd Hvizdak, Averill Core Director and for my meeting this morning with Jackie Nemec, Bethlehem Campus Life Director.

Pray for the planning meeting this afternoon for the May 2 Youth Leader Training day.

Wednesday – Pray for our staff as we meet this morning for our weekly staff meeting.  Pray for Ray Lightcap, Spiritual Development Director, as he leads us in a Bible study and time of prayer.

Pray for me as I will be leading training today with the staff at our staff meeting (as I type this I am not sure what that will be).

Praise for a great appointment last Wed afternoon with a married couple interested in volunteering with one of our Schenectady City Life ministries.

Sunday – Pray for me as I give a ministry update at Grafton Baptist Church this morning.  My time at Grafton Community Church had to be rescheduled, so please pray that we can find another date that works.

YFC Prayer Requests and Praises for March 10 -16, 2015

Tuesday – Praise God for a safe and Spirit filled weekend at Break Out.  We saw many middle school students make new commitments to Jesus.  Some were conversion commitments and some were growth commitments.

Wednesday – Continue to pray for our ministry teams throughout the greater Capital Region as each week we build relationships with teens and share the hope that comes from knowing God through Jesus.  Pray for our teams in Albany, Schenectady, Cambridge, East Dorset, Scotia-Glenville, Greenville, Clifton Park, Averill Park and Bethlehem.

Pray for my appointment this afternoon with a married couple interested in volunteering with one of our YFC ministries.

Friday – Pray for the Campus Life staff as they plan an event for the youth in their ministries scheduled for April 17-18.  Start praying now for the youth that will be at this event to know Jesus.

this ministry.  Praise God for Domonica Jeffress for leading this ministry since July 2014 and for her as she enters a new employment opportunity.
