YFC Prayer Requests and Praises for January 27 – February 2, 2015

Tuesday – Pray for our ministry teams throughout the greater Capital Region as each week we build relationships with teens and share the hope that comes from knowing God through Jesus.  Pray for our teams in Albany, Schenectady, Cambridge, East Dorset, Scotia-Glenville, Greenville, Clifton Park, Averill Park and Bethlehem.

Wednesday – Pray for our staff as we gather this morning for our staff meeting. Pray for me as I meet with a potential volunteer this evening.

Thursday – Pray for the teens in our ministries that are struggling to trust God.

Friday – Ask God to bless this ministry with the financial resources needed to pay our bills and staff on time each pay period this year.  Praise God for His provision during the last 6 months.

Saturday – Continue to pray for area youth leaders and pastors.  Pray for the Youth Leader Training day scheduled for Feb 7.

Sunday – Pray for your pastor and other leaders in your church.

Monday – Praise God for the conversations our staff and volunteers had this past week with teens about Jesus.

YFC Prayer Requests and Praises for January 20 - 26, 2015

Tuesday – Praise God for the large number of teens who drew closer to Jesus during Excel.  Praise God for the teens that first time decisions to become followers of Christ.  Praise God for the youth leaders that grew in their passion for Jesus too.

Pray for my meetings today with staff (Todd, Jackie and Dewayne) and for my meeting with a married couple interested in becoming involved with YFC.

Wednesday – Pray for our ministry teams throughout the greater Capital Region as each week we build relationships with teens and share the hope that comes from knowing God through Jesus.  Pray for our teams in Albany, Schenectady, Cambridge, East Dorset, Scotia-Glenville, Greenville, Clifton Park, Averill Park and Bethlehem.

Friday – Ask God to bless this ministry with the financial resources needed to pay our bills and staff on time each pay period this year.

Saturday - Pray for area youth leaders and pastors.  Pray for the Youth Leader Training day scheduled for Feb 7.

Sunday – Pray for our soccer ministry that meets tonight.  Pray for the teens to encounter Christ tonight through conversations with our staff and volunteers.

Monday – Pray for our outreach to elementary and middle school kids in Hamilton Hill (Schenectady) today. 

YFC Prayer Requests and Praises for January 13 - 19, 2015

Tuesday – Praise God for safety for me in my travels last week to Denver and back.  Praise for great meetings about growing God’s Kingdom while in Denver. 

Pray for the students and leaders coming to Excel (Jan 16-18), pray for safety and for them to be open to God's work in their lives.

Wednesday – Pray for the Excel ministry team as they pour their lives and God's Word into kids this weekend.

Thursday – Pray for YFC team of staff and volunteers as they serve in many capacities to make the Excel conference flow smoothly this weekend.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday – Pray for the youth to encounter Jesus in a powerful way, whether for the first time or to make a life-altering change in their life while at Excel this weekend.

Monday – Ask God to bless this ministry with the financial resources needed to pay our bills and staff on time each pay period this year.

YFC Prayer Requests and Praises for January 6 - 12, 2015

Tuesday – Pray for Allen Bishop (Scotia-Glenville Campus Life) and Khristian Collins (Albany City Life) as they fly out to Denver tomorrow morning to attend Institute (YFC National Training Conference (Jan 6 - 11).

Pray also for me as I fly to Denver early Wed morning to attend a three day conference (Wed – Fri) with YFC leaders from around the nation.

Pray for Scott Ferguson (CDYFC Board Member) and his family as they grieve the loss of his wife.

Thursday – Pray for the teens and adult youth leaders that will be attending Excel (High School Conference, Jan 16-18).  Pray for Dave and his team of volunteers as they get ready for the conference.

Friday – Pray for me as I fly back home from Denver today.
