YFC Prayer Requests and Praises for December 23, 2014 – January 5, 2015

December 23 - 29, 2014

Tuesday – Pray for my meeting this morning with Dave and Steve as we work on the Feb 2015 Youth Leader Training event.

Wednesday – Praise God for the teens we invest in that have said YES to following Jesus this year as this Christmas will have a deeper significance for them.

Thursday – Merry Christmas!!!!  Praise God for His gift of Jesus.

Friday – Praise God for the adults and churches that financially support this ministry to teens who are not yet followers of Jesus.

Saturday – Pray for the kids and teens connected with our YFC ministries that are having a challenging home life which makes this season especially difficult.

Sunday – Praise God for the opportunities He gives our staff and volunteers to talk to teens about Jesus.  Ask God to increase those opportunities as we start a new year.

Monday – Pray for our ministry teams throughout the greater Capital Region as each week we build relationships with teens and share the hope that comes from knowing God through Jesus.  Pray for our teams in Albany, Schenectady, Cambridge, East Dorset, Scotia-Glenville, Greenville, Clifton Park, Averill Park and Bethlehem.

December 30, 2014 – January 5, 2015

Tuesday – Pray for the Christian teens we work with in this missional work of introducing their peers to Jesus.

Wednesday – Pray for the teens YFC ministers to throughout the year to celebrate the New Year in ways that honor God.

Thursday – Happy New Year!

Friday – Pray for our ministry teams throughout the greater Capital Region as each week we build relationships with teens and share the hope that comes from knowing God through Jesus.  Pray for our teams in Albany, Schenectady, Cambridge, East Dorset, Scotia-Glenville, Greenville, Clifton Park, Averill Park and Bethlehem.

Saturday – Ask God to bless this ministry with the financial resources needed to pay our bills and staff on time each pay period this year.

Sunday – Pray for Jackie Nemec (Bethlehem Campus Life Director) as she heads to Denver for a retreat called One Heart and to attend YFC’s week long training (Institute) for new staff.

Monday – Pray for me as I come back from a week of vacation and dive deep into a new calendar year of ministry.

YFC Prayer Requests and Praises for December 16 - 22, 2014

Tuesday – Pray for our staff and volunteers this next week as the Christmas story is shared and teens are given an opportunity to say to following Jesus.

Pray for meeting this afternoon with a couple interested in volunteering with us.

Wednesday – Pray for the meeting this morning concerning starting a basketball program for middle school kids in Arbor Hill that will invite those kids to start a relationship with Jesus (rescheduled form last week)

Pray for my meeting this afternoon with an area youth leader.

Thursday – Continue to pray for the financial needs of this ministry.  Praise God for all the individuals, churches and businesses that contribute to this ministry.  Ask God to provide generous year end gifts from those able to do so.

Friday – Pray for the more volunteers for our Scotia-Glenville Campus Life ministries as this ministry continues to grow and see new teens coming every week.

Saturday – Pray for Spencer Martin as he continues to lead and grow the After School Program ministry at our YFC Adventure Center.

Sunday – Praise God for the opportunities He gives our staff and volunteers to talk to teens about Jesus.  Ask God to increase those opportunities as Christmas approaches.

Thursday – Pray for my meeting with the Campus Life staff this morning for a time of relationship building and training.

Friday – Pray for my meeting this morning with Kingdom partners as we plan the Feb and May Youth Leader Training days.

YFC Prayer Requests and Praises for December 2 - 8, 2014

Tuesday – Pray for my meeting with Jackie Nemec this morning.  Jackie is our new staff person for Bethlehem Campus Life.  Ask God to show us His plans for this ministry to lost teens.

Wednesday – Pray for the staff of CD YFC as we meet this morning for our staff meeting.  Ask God to use this time to tighten the bond between us as we continue to work together in His Kingdom work.

Thursday –Pray for my meeting with the Campus Life staff this morning for a time of relationship building and training.

Friday – Pray for my meeting with Andy Lightcap (Schenectady City Life Director) as we talk through ways to becoming more effective in supervising staff.

Saturday – Continue to pray for the financial needs of this ministry.  Praise God for all the individuals, churches and businesses that contribute to this ministry.
