YFC Prayer Requests and Praises for August 26 – September 2, 2014

Tuesday – Pray for my meeting with our Clifton Park Campus Life Director (DeWayne) at 9AM and my meeting with our Parent Life Director (Domonica) at 10AM today.  Pray for me during the rest of the morning and early afternoon as I need to finish some projects and get in some planning for meetings later in the week.  Pray for my meeting with Todd Hvizdak (Averill Park Core Ministry Director) today at 3PM as we meet with a local pastor.

Wednesday – Pray for my time with staff at our staff meeting this morning, my meeting with Andy (Schenectady City Life Director) and Domonica after the staff meeting, my meeting with Allen (Scotia-Glenville Campus Life Director) after that meeting.  At 1PM I will be on a conference call with Campus Life leaders in the Eastern Region and then a banquet planning meeting at 2.  At 3PM I meet with someone who is interested in joining our staff team.   Pray for me to be fully present in all of these meetings.

Thursday – Today is a catch up day on follow up from all the meetings I have had so far this week and at 3PM I am scheduled to meet with Tom Beebe who leads our Campus Life ministry in East Dorset, VT and also invests his time into the volunteers who lead our Cambridge Campus Life ministry.

Friday – Pray for Jillian (our bookkeeper) as we have a report that is due by Aug 31 to our National Leadership.

Saturday – Pray for the financial needs of this ministry.  Praise God for all the individual, churches and businesses that contribute to this ministry.

Sunday – Pray for the Christian teens we work with to stay strong in their commitment to living for Christ.

Monday – Pray for our staff as they take the day to rest and be restored today.

Tuesday – Pray for our Board of Directors and John Richmond (Executive Director) as they have a board meeting tonight at 5:30.  Pray for me as I give a report on our ministries at the meeting tonight.

YFC Prayer Requests and Praises for August 19 - 25, 2014

Tuesday – Pray for Dave Lenehan and myself as we work on the upcoming Youth Leader Training day for adults engaged in youth ministry in the Capital District.

Wednesday – Praise God for all the churches, business and families that financially support this ministry to teens.  Pray for the on-going financial needs of this ministry especially as giving is typically lower during August and September.

Thursday – Pray for our staff that are praying and seeking more adults to volunteer in our ministries to teens.  Pray for our staff as they connect to adults they know and for wisdom to know where to connect with more adults.

Friday – Pray for the teens in our ministry that are just learning who God is and hearing how He wants them to live.  Pray that their hearts would be open to His truth and have a willingness to allow Him to change them from the inside out.

Saturday – Pray for the young mom’s involved in our Parent Life ministry.  Ask God to help them see their worth in His eyes.

Sunday – Praise God today for all the little blessings you have in your life.  Ask God to bring to mind those who are struggling and living in difficult circumstances here in the US and around the world.

Monday – Pray for City Life ministries in Albany and Schenectady.  Pray especially for those teens that have broken relationships with their parents.

YFC Prayer Requests and Praises for August 12 - 18, 2014

Tuesday – Pray for my meeting with Dewayne Moore who leads the Clifton Park Campus Life ministry and for my meeting with Domonica Jeffress who leads the Parent Life ministry in Schenectady. 

Wednesday – Pray for my meeting with the Cambridge Ministry Team tonight as we evaluate the effectiveness of our summer ministry and plan for the fall.

Thursday – Pray for Spencer Martin as he works with parents who are registering their middle school students for our After School Program.  Ask God to provide the right people for two part time positions with this new program.

Friday – Praise God for our staff and volunteers who invest their time into the lives of kids and teens around the Capital District.

Saturday – Pray for the teens that have not made the decision to follow Christ to make that decision soon.

Sunday – Pray for teens that have recently started following Jesus.  Pray for them as they learn to trust God more and more with the joys and struggles in their lives.

Monday – Pray for John Richmond as he leads our Golf Tournament today.  Praise God for all the golfers participating in this fund raising event today.

YFC Prayer Requests and Praises for August 5 - 11, 2014

Tuesday – Praise God for a good week of vacation for Kelly and myself.  Praise God for an incredible week of ministry at YFC middle school camp, we saw close to 20 6-8^th graders begin a relationship with God through Jesus that week and many more make decisions to more faithfully follow Him.

Wednesday – Continue to pray for the finances of YFC today.  Praise God that my ministry account was in the black after the month of July.  Ask God for all the ministry accounts to be in the black by the end of August and mine to remain that way.

Thursday – Pray for God to connect us with the right person to join our staff to lead a Campus Life ministry in the Bethlehem/Delmar area.

Friday – Pray for the teens involved with our Campus Life, City Life and Parent Life ministries to start trusting God in their everyday struggles.

Saturday – Continue to pray for the churches in your local community to be the Church.  Pray for the pastors and other leaders of the local congregations.

Sunday – Pray for our volunteers who invest into the lives of teens because they are compelled to share the love and hope found in Jesus.

Monday – Pray for our office staff as they diligently see to the everyday tasks of leading this ministry.  Praise God for the entire staff of Capital District YFC.
