YFC Prayer Requests and Praises for March 11 -17, 2014

Financial need for my ministry position (Ministry Development)

After the first eight months of YFC’s fiscal year there is a deficit in my position’s budget of approximately $16,000 ($2,000 per month).  For January- June my position’s budget needs $8,367 per month to make up the deficit for the first 6 months and end the fiscal in the black. Please pray for this financial need to be met by God’s people who believe in the cause of youth becoming life-long followers of Jesus.

Tuesday – Praise God for how He changed lives during the Break Out Conference this past weekend.

Pray for the kids who are part of our City Life ministry in the Bellevue neighborhood of Schenectady.  Pray for me as I help out today at this ministry site.

Pray for me and the Cambridge ministry team as we meet tonight.

Wednesday – Pray for our Albany City Life ministry and our Greenville Campus Life ministry today.  Pray for the kids and teens that attend today’s club meetings to draw closer to God through Christ.

Thursday – Pray for Spencer Martin as he is working towards coming on staff with us to begin an after school program for middle school students at our YFC Adventure Center in Halfmoon.

Friday – Praise God that after three plus years of working towards starting a Campus Life ministry in Scotia, we have hired Allen Bishop to lead this ministry.  Pray for him and his volunteer team as they begin building relationships with teens through their Friday night program.

Saturday – Praise God for a new $50 a month support for my ministry department.  Pray for 38 more people (who can give at least $50 a month) to join my ministry support team.

Sunday – Praise God for the opportunities that I have had over the past few weeks to connect with more church youth leaders in the Capital District.

Monday – Pray for our ministries in Schenectady, East Dorset, VT and Clifton Park today.  Pray for our staff and volunteers to stay close to Christ as they minister to teens and for the teens to honor God in their decisions each day.
