Financial need for my ministry position (Ministry Development)

After the first six months of YFC’s fiscal year there is a deficit in my position’s budget of approximately $12,000 ($2,000 per month).  For January- June my position’s budget needs $8,367 per month to make up the deficit for the first 6 months and end the fiscal in the black. Please pray for this financial need to be met by God’s people who believe in the cause of youth becoming life-long followers of Jesus.

Tuesday – Pray for me and the staff I meet with today and during this week as we continue to work on ways to reach teens for Christ.

Pray for our Point Break team working with students and staff from Middleburgh High School today.

Wednesday – Pray for the YFC staff from around the country that are attending a national conference this week in Chicago.

Thursday – Pray for the teens connected with each of our ministries, that they would make the decision every day to follow Jesus.

Friday – Praise God for each individual and church that financially supports YFC and prays for us.

Saturday – Pray for our staff and volunteers as they invest their time and talents to reach teens for Christ.

Sunday – Pray for me as I preach this morning at Connecting Point Church in East Greenbush.

Monday – Pray for our board of directors and our Executive Director, John Richmond as they lead this ministry.

YFC Prayer Requests and Praises for January 21 - 27, 2104

Financial need for my ministry position (Ministry Development)

Tuesday – Praise God for the work He did this past weekend at Excel.  Praise God for the teens that started their personal relationship with God through Jesus.

Wednesday – Praise God for the teens that grew in their relationship with God through Jesus.  Pray for them to remain consistent in their walk with God as they go through their day to day routines.

Thursday – Pray for me and my meetings with the Andy (Schenectady City Life), Domonica (Schenectady Teen Parents) and Ashley (Albany City Life) today.  Pray that I will listen well to these staff and to God as we work on ways to grow the impact of each of these ministries to young people.

Friday – Praise God for all the adult leaders who brought teens to Excel.  Praise God for how He worked in their lives over the weekend.

Saturday – Pray of the unsaved parents of the teens who attended Excel that made a decision to live different when they got home.  Pray for those parents to understand and know the God who changed their hearts so they would desire to change their behaviors.

Sunday – Pray for those teens that resisted God while at Excel last weekend.  Pray for a softening of their hearts and to have a thirst for knowing God and following His ways.

Monday – Pray for YFC staff from around the country that will meeting this week at a conference (Mid-Winter).  Ask God to use their time away at this conference to be a time of spiritual refreshment.

YFC Prayer Requests and Praises for January 14 - 20, 2104

Tuesday – Thank you for your praying for Ashley last week while she attended a national training conference. Please continue to pray for her and the others who attended from around the nation as they begin the challenging work of integrating what they learned into their daily ministry.

Wednesday – Pray for our Campus Life ministries in Cambridge, Greenville, Clifton Park and East Dorset, VT today.  Ask God to show himself to the young people involved in each of these ministries.  Ask God to soften hearts and open minds to who He truly is today.

Thursday – Pray for our urban ministries, City Life and Teen Parents in Albany and Schenectady.  Pray for these young people to come to know Jesus and serve Hi faithfully.

Friday – Excel 2014 begins today.  Pray for safety for the team setting up for the conference and for safe travel for all attending.

Saturday – Pray for the youth leaders and teens attending Excel this weekend.  Pray for them to listen well to God this weekend and become more obedient to live His way.

Sunday – Pray for the speakers, musicians and seminar presenters as we faithfully teach God’s word and live it out amongst the teens today.

Monday – Pray for the youth leaders, teens and all the rest of us that participated in Excel this weekend.  Pray for the truths we heard to be rooted deeply in our hearts so we live for Jesus with total commitment.

YFC Prayer Requests and Praises for January 7 - 13, 2104

Tuesday – Pray for Ashley as she is attending a week- long training with 70 other YFC staff from around the country.  Praise God for getting her to the training safely.

Wednesday – Praise God for the anti-bullying program we did with 100 kids (ages 5-14) this past Saturday in Albany.  Please pray for the kids to take to heart the challenge to use their words to only build other up.

Thursday – Pray for the teens and youth leaders attending Excel 2014 next weekend (Jan 17-19).

Friday – Praise God for all the churches and individuals that financially support this ministry.  Pray for more churches and individuals to start supporting this Kingdom work.

Saturday – Pray for the teens that are struggling to respect their parents.

Sunday – Pray for your family and friends to slow down and spend quality and quantity time with God today.

Monday – Pray for our City Life and Teen Parents ministries in Albany and Schenectady.  Pray for the kids and teens to grow in their understanding of God and trust in Jesus.
