YFC Praises for November 26 - December 2, 2013

Tuesday – Praise God for the kids from our Schenectady City Life ministry that went home with Bibles last week and for those kids that accepted Christ as their Savior.

Wednesday – Praise God for the people who financially support the ministry of YFC.

Thursday – Give thanks today to our Father for all His blessings.

Friday – Praise God for those adults who volunteer with YFC so that teens will become life-long followers of Jesus.

Saturday – Praise God for the Christian students who are living out the Gospel.

Sunday – Praise God for all the churches in our communities that remain faithful to Him.

Monday – Praise God for the opportunities He gives us to glorify His Name each and every day.

YFC Prayer Requests/Praises for November 19 - 25, 2013

Tuesday – Pray for our board of directors as they meet tonight.

Pray for the team leading Point Break today, Wednesday and Thursday with students and staff from Gloversville High School.  Pray for the students and staff from this high school too.

Wednesday – Pray for our staff as we gather this morning for our weekly staff meeting.  Praise God for the opportunities He gives us each day to glorify His name.

Thursday – Pray for our ministry to teen moms in Schenectady.  Pray for Domonica as she leads this ministry,

Friday – Pray for our staff members that work at The Edge (indoor rock climbing gym).  Pray for them as they build relationships with the customers and for opportunities to share their faith in Christ through their conversations.

Saturday – Pray for the pastors in your local community.  Pray that they stay connected to Jesus.

Sunday – Please continue to pray for John Richmond and his family.  Pray also for those of us on staff at YFC as we work through our grief.

Monday – Pray for the kids involved with our City Life ministries in Albany and Schenectady.  Pray that more adult volunteers will join our ministry teams in both communities so that more tees can hear and see the Gospel.

YFC Prayer Requests/Praises for November 12 – 18, 2013

Tuesday – Pray for the ministry team in Cambridge and East Dorset, VT as we meet tonight to pray, review and plan for our ministry to teens in both of these communities.

Wednesday – Pray for our staff as we gather this morning for our weekly staff meeting.  Pray for our outreach ministries taking place this afternoon in Greenville and Albany.

Thursday – Praise God for a successful banquet this past Sunday and pray for the banquet being held this evening.

Friday – Pray for our Teen Parents ministry and for our need for more volunteers to invest in the young moms that are involved in this ministry.

Saturday – Pray for our staff that are still within their first year of ministry with us; Domonica, Michele, Tyler, DeWayne and Mentha.

Sunday – Pray for John Richmond today and his family as we celebrate the life of Chris Richmond this afternoon at her memorial service.

Monday – Pray for Ray Lightcap and me as we lead a One Heart Retreat today and tomorrow with some of our staff and volunteers as well as two staff from another YFC chapter in NY State.

The Battle Is Over

It is with great sadness that we share the news that our co-worker and sister in Christ, Chris Richmond, has gone home to be with the Lord.

Chris served her God and the community of young people most of her life.  We are sure that she is resting in the Glory of the presence of the Eternal One.

We as a YFC family would greatly appreciate your prayers for us and for John, Becky, Johnny and their family during this difficult time. While we know that we do not grieve as the world grieves, please ask that the God of all comfort will be this family's portion. Thank you.
