YFC Prayer Requests/Praises for July 30 – August 19, 2013

Please continue to pray for Chris and John Richmond as Chris continues her fight against cancer. 

July 30 – August 5

Tuesday – Praise God for the two kids who prayed to receive Christ at the VBS in Albany last week.

Wednesday – Pray for our staff team as we meet this morning for staff meeting.

Thursday – Pray for Domonica as she leads our Schenectady Teen Parents ministry and starts making connections in Albany to begin Teen Parents there too.

Friday – Pray for our Campus Life ministry in Cambridge, for more volunteers to help us reach more teens with the Gospel.

Saturday – Pray for Kelly and me and we go on vacation for the next 2 weeks.

Sunday – Praise God for the churches that financially support the mission of Youth for Christ.

Monday – Pray for the teens involved in Schenectady City Life ministries. Pray for our ministry team as they share their lives and the Gospel with these kids.

August 6 – 12

Tuesday – Pray for our Campus Life ministry in Greenville and for more volunteers to join the ministry team.

Wednesday – Pray for the monies needed to sustain and grow our ministries to be provided each week.

Thursday – Pray for our Campus Life ministry in East Dorset, VT.  Pray for the teens that are involved to give their lives to Jesus.

Friday –Pray for our Albany City Life ministry, for more volunteers to join the ministry team so we can reach the teens in Arbor Hill and West Hill neighborhoods.

Saturday – Pray for our Shiloh Edge ministry team as they prepare to take another group of teens on a canoe trip in the Adirondacks in a few days.

Sunday – Praise God for the pastors in your community that preach and live out the Gospel.

Monday – Pray for our Clifton Park Campus Life ministry.  Pray for our ministry team to continue to meet more teens so we can start a weekly club this fall.

August 13 – 19

Tuesday – Pray for the administrative team at CDYFC as they take care of the day to day details of having an effective ministry to teens.

Wednesday – Pray for our Executive Director, John, as he cares for his wife and leads our ministry team.

Thursday – Pray for the CDYFC board members as they oversee the ministry and financial needs of our YFC chapter.

Friday – Pray for the camps that we have scheduled for the remaining weeks of August.  Pray that the kids involved will make a decision to follow Jesus.

Saturday – Pray for the Point Break team that will be leading this program with kids from Albany today.  Pray also for those kids that they will embrace the values that will be communicated.

Sunday – Pray for youth leaders (paid and volunteer) that minister in our churches and organizations like YFC.

Monday – Pray for our efforts to establish new ministry this year.  Pray for the people and financial resources to be there when needed.

YFC Prayer Requests/Praises for July 23 - 29, 2013

Please continue to pray for Chris and John Richmond as Chris continues her fight against cancer. 

Kelly and I had a great week of vacation last week, thank you for your prayers.

Tuesday – Pray for Ashley, Albany City Life Director, this week as she helps with a VBS in Arbor Hill run by some local churches.

Wednesday – Pray for our staff team as we gather this morning for our weekly staff meeting. Pray for Dave, Conference Director and Facilities Manager, as he enters back into his ministry with us after being away on sabbatical.

Thursday – Pray for our new staff (within one year) that are experiencing the pace of summer ministry.  Pray for Ashley, Domonica, Mentha, Michele and Tyler.

Friday – Pray for our City Life ministries to teens in Schenectady and Albany.

Saturday – Pray for the community of Averill Park as they dealing with the news of increased drug use in their town.

Sunday – Pray for me as I preach and share the ministry of YFC at Pleasantdale Community Church in Troy this morning.

Monday – Pray for our Campus Life ministries in Greenville, Cambridge, Clifton Park and East Dorset, VT.

YFC Prayer Requests/Praises for July 9 –22, 2013

Please continue to pray for Chris and John Richmond as Chris continues her fight against cancer. 

Pray for the staff and teens on Shiloh Edge’s canoe trip through the Allagash Wilderness in Maine 

(July 8 – 17). 

July 9 - 15

Tuesday – Continue to pray for the financial health of YFC.  Giving has been low these past few months and the summer months are historically low for us as well.  Ask God to continue to help us trust Him with the needed resources to keep the ministry moving forward.

Wednesday – Pray for our staff team as we gather this morning for our weekly staff meeting.

Thursday – Pray for our Campus Life ministry in East Dorset, VT.  Pray for the teens to grow in their understanding of being a follower of Jesus.  Pray for the health of Tom and Kathy Beebe.

Friday – Pray for our Campus Life ministry in Cambridge.  Ask God to send us more adult volunteers to help us more effectively minister to all the teens He is sending us.

Saturday – Pray for our staff and volunteers as they work at spending time with middle school and high school students during the summer months.  Pray that hours of investing into these young lives will produce everlasting fruit.

Sunday – Pray for Kelly and me as I am on vacation this coming week.  Pray for safety as we bike, hike, swim and rest this week.

Monday – Pray for our City Life ministries in Schenectady and Albany.  Pray for the teens they work with to become followers of Jesus.

July 16 – 22

Tuesday – Praise God for one of the teens in our Campus Life ministry that is learning about bringing her struggles to God through prayer.

Wednesday – Pray for our staff team as they gather this morning for our weekly staff meeting.

Thursday – Pray for the financial health of YFC.  Giving has been low these past few months and the summer months are historically low for us as well.  Ask God to continue to help us trust Him with the needed resources to keep the ministry moving forward.

Friday – Pray for our Campus Life ministry in Clifton Park. Pray for Michele Clayton as she continues to build relationships in the community and hold events for the teens during the summer months.

Saturday – Pray for Domonica Farley who is our new staff person for our Teen Parents ministry in Schenectady.  Pray for Domonica as she is beginning to meet people in Schenectady and also in Albany.  Pray for her as she builds the ministry in Schenectady and makes plans to start a Teen Parents ministry in Albany.

Sunday – Praise God for all the churches that support YFC through their missions giving.

Monday – Pray for Sherri Hvizdak and her ministry team in Greenville.  Praise God for the lives being impacted for Christ as she shares God’s Word with students.

YFC Prayer Requests/Praises for July 2 – 8, 2013

Please continue to pray for Chris and John Richmond as Chris continues her fight against cancer. 

Tuesday – Praise for the time on the ropes course last week with the group form Gloversville.  Pray for our time on the course and in the rock gym (The Edge) today with middle school and high school students from Halfmoon.

Wednesday – Pray for our staff team as we gather this morning for our weekly staff meeting. Pray for my meetings with staff during the day today.

Thursday – Pray for the financial health of YFC.  Giving has been low these past few months and the summer months are historically low for us as well.  Ask God to continue to help us trust Him with the needed resources to keep the ministry moving forward.

Friday – Pray for our Campus Life ministries in Clifton Park, Cambridge, Greenville and East Dorset, VT.  Pray for the teens involved to come to know Jesus as Savior and Lord.

Saturday – Pray for our City Life ministries in Schenectady and Albany.  Pray for those teens to become followers of Jesus too.

Sunday – Praise God for all the churches that support YFC through their missions giving.

Monday – Pray for the staff and teens leaving today for the canoe trip through the Allagash Wilderness in Maine (July 8 – 17).  Pray also for the climbing camp starting today with 8-14 year olds through The Edge.
