YFC Prayer Requests/Praises for June 27 – July 1, 2013

Please continue to pray for Chris and John Richmond as Chris continues her fight against cancer. 

Thursday – Pray for the group of students from Gloversville who will be going through our high adventure ropes course today.

Pray for Sherri Hvizdak (Greenville Campus Life Director) and me as we meet today at 1PM.  We need more ministry volunteers and adults to serve on a community support team.

Friday – Pray for our Campus Life ministry in Cambridge that has its weekly out-reach meeting tonight.  Ask God to help our volunteers clearly present His truth to them and for them to have open hearts towards God.

Saturday – Pray for the financial health of YFC.  Giving has been low these past few months and the summer months are historically low for us as well.  Ask God to continue to help us trust Him with the needed resources to keep the ministry moving forward.

Sunday – I will be giving an update on YFC at Rolling Hills Fellowship in South Cambridge this morning.  Praise God for this church’s partnership with YFC in building His Kingdom.

Monday – Pray for Domonica Farley who starts today as our new Teen Parents Director in Schenectady and will also be starting a Teen Parents ministry in Albany.

YFC Prayer Requests/Praises for June 11-26, 2013

June 11 – 17

Tuesday – Pray for our efforts to establish an YFC ministry in Averill Park.  We have a few people on our prayer team and are asking God to add to that team as well as find us people to serve on the Community Support Team.

Wednesday – Praise God for a new donor for my ministry position.  Pray for more people to be in a position financially to give monthly to YFC.

Thursday – Pray for my meeting with our new staff person for Teen Parents (Domonica will start July 1) and my meeting with Ashley (Albany City Life) this morning.

Pray for our Schenectady Teen Parents picnic happening tonight.  Pray that the teen moms will be open to hearing God’s message of hope and forgiveness.

Friday – Pray my meeting with Andy (Schenectady City Life) this morning.

Saturday – Pray for the staff and volunteers from three different chapters in NY State, as we meet today for a time of training and building community.  I ask for your prayers for me as I lead this training day.

Sunday – Praise God for being the ultimate father.

Monday – I begin another week of vacation today (last one of the fiscal year).  Thanks again for your prayers not only for me but for all areas and ministries of Capital District YFC.

June 18 – 26

Tuesday – Pray for the office staff involved in closing out our fiscal year.  Praise God for our administrative team.

Wednesday – Pray for our Schenectady City Life and Albany City Life ministers.  Pray for the teens in our urban communities to become followers of Jesus.

Thursday – Pray for our Cambridge, Clifton Park, East Dorset and Greenville Campus Life ministries. Pray for the teens in our suburban and rural communities to become followers of Jesus.

Friday – Pray for the board members of CDYFC.

Saturday – Pray for our staff that work at the Edge climbing gym as they provide a great experience rock climbing to our customers.

Sunday – Pray for your pastor and the pastors you know in your community.

Monday – Pray for the national staff of YFC as they serve each local YFC chapter in the US.

Tuesday – Pray for YFC staff and volunteers who serve in other countries around the world.

Wednesday – Pray for the staff team here in the Capital District as we head into our summer schedule with the teens.

Pray for me as I will be back to work today.

YFC Prayer Requests/Praises for June 5 - 10, 2013

Please continue to pray for Chris and John Richmond as Chris continues her fight against cancer. 

Thank you for your prayers, my vacation was spent relaxing and enjoying the outdoors.

Wednesday – My day starts at 7AM with a networking meeting held at YFC.  From 9-11, I will be at our weekly staff meeting.  At 11:15 I will be meeting with our new staff members for an hour of training.  At 1PM I will be on a conference call with the members of the Eastern Region Campus Life Team.  At 3:30 I will be meeting with the point person for our efforts to establish a long term ministry in Berne-Knox-Westerlo. (Just a quick deeper look into how some of my days go)  Thanks for your prayers!

Thursday – Pray for my meeting at 10AM with Ashley Young who heads up our Albany City Life ministry and my 12:30 meeting with Sherri Hvizdak who leads our Greenville Campus Life ministry.   I will also be working on a training day (June 15) with staff and volunteers from three different chapters in NY State,

Friday – Pray for my 11AM meeting with Andy Lightcap who serves as our Schenectady City Life director.  At about 1:30 I have a meeting with John Richmond (Executive Director).

Saturday – Pray for good weather for the SBS event this morning and the groups on the Challenge Course this morning and this afternoon.

Sunday – I will be giving an update on YFC at West Stephentown Baptist Church this morning and then helping lead a group from my church (Connecting Pont Church) through our Challenge Course in the afternoon.

Monday – Pray for my meeting with the Cambridge Campus Life ministry leaders tonight as we pray together and plan for the summer months.
