YFC Prayer Requests/Praises for March 26 – April 1, 2013

Please continue to pray for Chris and John Richmond as Chris continues her fight against cancer.  Pray for Tom Beebe (and his wife, Kathy) as he recovers from gall bladder surgery.

Tuesday – Pray for my meeting with the Christian adults that are praying for and learning about what it will take to have a long lasting ministry in Averill Park.

Wednesday – Continue to pray for our new staff as they work on establishing ministries in the community they have been called to. (Michele – Clifton Park, Erik – Ballston Spa, Ashley – Albany)

Continue to pray for new monthly supporters for this ministry.  My ministry department needs 40 new donors at $50 a month or the financial equivalent.

Thursday – Continue to pray for our Teen Parents ministry in Schenectady.  We are in need of more volunteers to be in relationship with the girls that are involved with us.

Friday – Pray for the teens involved with YFC’s ministries that need to begin a relationship with Jesus.  Pray for their hearts to be open to Him and come to the decision to become a life-long follower of our King.

Saturday – Pray for Steve and Brad as they leave today with the other leaders and teens for their climbing trip to Joshua Tree National Park.  Pray for safety as the travel and climb.  Pray that each teen leaves the trip with the commitment to be a faithful follower of Jesus.

Sunday – Resurrection Sunday!  Praise God for His sacrifice so that we can live with Him.

Monday – Pray for my meeting with the Cambridge ministry team tonight.  Please ask God to send more volunteers and prayer warriors for this ministry that live in Cambridge.

YFC Prayer Requests/Praises for March 19 - 25, 2013

Please continue to pray for Chris and John Richmond as Chris continues her fight against cancer. 

Tuesday – Continue to pray for new monthly supporters for this ministry.  My ministry department needs 40 new donors at $50 a month or the financial equivalent.

Wednesday – Pray for our new staff as they work on establishing ministries in the community they have been called to. (Michele – Clifton Park, Erik – Ballston Spa, Ashley – Albany)

Thursday – Pray for our Teen Parents ministry in Schenectady.  We are in need of more volunteers to be in relationship with the girls that are involved with us.

Friday – Pray for our Campus Life ministry in Cambridge.  Last week 18 teens showed up and heard about how God wants us to live.

Saturday – Pray for Steve and Brad as they prepare to take a group of teens on a climbing trip to Joshua Tree National Park.  Pray for safety as the travel and climb.  Pray that each teen leaves the trip with the commitment to be a faithful follower of Jesus.

Sunday – Pray for Sherri Hvizdak and me as we present the ministry of YFC to a church congregation in Westerlo this morning.

Monday – Pray for our City Life ministry in Schenectady.  Praise God for how He is working through our ministry team to impact teens with the Gospel.

YFC Prayer Requests/Praises for March 12 - 18, 2013

Please continue to pray for Chris and John Richmond as Chris continues her fight against cancer. 

Tuesday – Thank you for your prayers for our Point Break program in Berne-Knox-Westerlo last week.  It was one of the best responses from teen that we have ever had.  Praise God for how He works through us.

Wednesday – Praise God for a great Break Out Conference.  My favorite part was the teens sharing how excited they were watching their friends become Christians.

Thursday – Today I travel to the Syracuse area to meet with leaders from other YFC chapters and the Eastern States Regional Director.  Pray for safe travels and a productive meeting.

Friday – Continue to pray for new monthly supporters for this ministry.  My ministry department needs 40 new donors at $50 a month or the financial equivalent.

Saturday – Pray for the teens that were at Break Out last weekend.  Ask God to help them stay committed to Him. 

Sunday- Pray for our staff and volunteers as they worship with their families today.

Monday – Pray for the teens involved in our ministries.  Pray that they would grow closer to God and learn how to live for Him.

YFC Prayer Requests/Praises for March 5 - 11, 2013

Please continue to pray for Chris and John Richmond as Chris continues her fight against cancer.  

Tuesday – Pray for Steve, Brad, Dave and me as we present the Point Break program to the freshman class from Berne-Knox-Westerlo High School today.  Pray for the teens and staff from BKW as they go through the program today.

Wednesday – Pray for our staff as we gather this morning for our staff meeting.  In the afternoon we will be loading the U-Haul for Break Out.  Please pray for safety as we load the truck.

Thursday – Continue to pray for new monthly supporters for this ministry.  My ministry department needs 40 new donors at $50 a month or the financial equivalent.

Friday – Break Out start tonight.  Pray for us as we set up during the day and get everything ready for the opening session tonight.  Pray for safe travel for all the middle school students and youth leaders.

Saturday – Pray for the teens at Break Out to listen well during the sessions and workshop being offered today.  They will be challenged to make a commitment to follow Christ for the first time or deepen their relationship with Christ tonight.

Sunday- Pray for the youth leaders ad teens as they head home from Break Out.  Pray for them to follow through on their plans to live more for Jesus.

Monday – Today is a day of rest for me and our staff.  Praise God with me for what God has been doing in the lives of teens these past few weeks.  Praise God for being my strength through some very busy weeks.

Tonight, I will be in Berne, meeting with Christian adults to talk about laying the foundation for a long term sustainable YFC ministry for teens in this community.
