Prayer Requests for the weeks of June 26 – July 2, 2012

Tuesday – Thank for your prayers these past 2 weeks.  I had a safe trip to PA and back last week and our time in planning and prayer was very productive.  Praise God for His blessings today.

Pray for good weather and for our safety as we have the Greenville Campus Life group and a group from South Westerlo Congregational Christian Church on our outdoor challenge course this afternoon.

Wednesday – Praise God for the two people interested in becoming part of our volunteer ministry team in Cambridge.  I meet with them on Thursday July 5.  Please pray for them each day leading up to our meeting next week.

Thursday – Continue to pray for our efforts to establish a strong ministry presence in Albany.  There is a young woman who is in the beginning stages of raising the ministry budget for Albany so that she can join our staff team. Praise God for the new money already raised towards the Albany ministry.

Friday – Continue to pray for our efforts to establish a Campus Life ministry for the teenagers in the communities within Southern Saratoga County.

Saturday – Continue to pray for the health of our staff and their families.  Pray specifically for Chris Richmond as she continues her battle with cancer.

Sunday – Pray for our BlazeFest camp being held in Schenectady this August.  Pray for our City Life staff as they prepare the City Life Center for this camp and get kids signed up for camp.

Monday – Pray for our efforts to begin a Campus Life ministry in the Scotia/Glenville community.  We have a person interested in a staff position in the near future for this community, please begin praying for him as we investigate this opportunity together.

Prayer Requests for the weeks of June 12 - 25, 2012

June 12 – 18

Tuesday – Praise God for a good day for Step By Step.  The rain held off (sprinkled a little) and everyone had a great time in hanging out and walking together.  Praise God also for the money raised through SBS.

Wednesday – Pray for Steve Prettyman as he leads a Shiloh’s Edge trip that finished up tomorrow.  Pray for the group’s safety and that they would grow in Christ while out in His creation.

Monday – Pray for safe travel for me and the others that are headed to a Campus Life Regional Team planning retreat. Pray that our time together will help Campus Life staff and volunteers around the country be more effective in ministry and more connected to Jesus.  (Pray for safe travel home on Wednesday)

June 19-25

Tuesday – Pray for families that have children graduating from high school.

Wednesday – Pray for the pastors in your community.

Thursday – Pray for my meeting with Sherri Hvizdak this afternoon.  Sherri leads our Campus Life ministry in Greenville.

Friday – Pray for the staff as many are on vacation this week.

Saturday – Pray for a good work crew to show up for the work day on the City Life Center in Schenectady this morning.

Sunday – Pray for the people in your church that teach Bible studies, Sunday School or lead small groups.  Thank God for their willingness to lead.

Monday – Pray for our City Life summer intern (Maya) who begins her ministry with us today.

YFC Prayer Requests for the week of June 5 - 11, 2012

Tuesday – Pray for teachers, students and school staff as they finish up another school year.  Pray for peace and well managed stress for all.

Wednesday – Pray for wisdom for a young woman who is considering a staff position with us beginning most likely in July.

Thursday – Pray for me as I drive to and from the Syracuse area for a meeting with YFC chapter leaders today.  Pray for us as we gather for prayer and time to share what God is doing in our areas.  Pray for us as we also talk about the challenges we are facing in ministry, that we can be a support and encouragement to each other.

Friday – Pray for our volunteer leaders who work alongside our staff to invest into the lives of teens with the Gospel.

Saturday – Pray for the success of our Step By Step fund raiser today. 

Sunday – Pray for me as I share the ministry of YFC and bring a message to the West Stephentown Baptist Church this morning.

Monday – Pray for my meeting with the ministry team in Cambridge tonight.  Our focus will be our summer plans and getting positioned for another school year of ministry.
