Prayer Requests for the week of May 31 – June 4, 2012

Thursday – Praise God for two great Point Break programs last week.  About 100 freshman and sophomores attended from Middleburgh High School.

Praise God for Dave Lenehan and I for completing three years of leadership training last week and for safe travel to and from Maryland.

Pray for area youth leaders as we gather for lunch and fellowship today at noon.

Friday – Praise God for our new bookkeeper, Jillian.  Jillian joined our staff last week. Please pray for her as she settles into this position and gets to know us.

Saturday – Pray for John and Chris Richmond as Chris continues her battle with cancer.

Sunday – Praise God for His church worshiping Him all around the Capital Region today.

Monday – Pray for the last Jumpoff (City Life’s weekly outreach) for this school year.  Pray for our City Life ministry team as they transition to our summer ministry schedule.

Prayer Requests for the week of May 22 - 30, 2012

Tuesday – Pray for Dave Lenehan and me as we attend our final leadership training session in Maryland today through Thursday.

Pray for our Point Break program being held today with teens from Middleburgh.

Wednesday – Pray for Steve Prettyman who heads up our Point Break program. Pray for the three staff from Southern Tier YFC who are observing this program this week and being trained in how to bring this ministry to their area of NY State.

Thursday – Pray for our second day of Point Break with Middleburgh students.

Friday – Pray for our staff as they plan out the summer ministry schedules.

Saturday – Pray for John and Chris Richmond as Chris continues her battle with cancer.

Sunday – Praise God for allowing us to invest into the lives of teens on His behalf.

Monday – Pray for those in our armed services and remember those families who have lost a loved one who served.

Tuesday – Pray our Campus Life ministries in Berne-Knox-Westerlo, Greenville, Cambridge and East Dorset.

Wednesday - Pray for our office staff as they work through the day to day tasks that keep our ministry running smoothly.

YFC Prayer Requests for the week of May 15-21, 2012

Tuesday – Pray for the health of our staff.  Chris Richmond (cancer), John Richmond (foot), Ruth Lightcap (ankle).  Please pray for total healing and protection from other serious injuries and health problems.

Wednesday – Pray for our volunteers and their families as they continue to minister to teens through YFC.

Thursday – Pray for our Board of Directors as they serve in key roles for our chapter’s ministry.

Friday – Pray for the teens involved in our ministries this year who have not yet received Christ as Lord and Savior.

Saturday – Pray for the Christian students engaged in YFC ministries.  Pray that they would be faithful witnesses to the work of Christ in their lives to their families and friends.

Sunday – Pray for the leadership of your church to remain faithful to scripture and obedient to the call of Christ.

Monday – Pray for safety of the teens, volunteers and staff at all our ministry sites and activities this week.

Prayer Requests for the week of May 8 -14, 2012

Tuesday – Praise God for a good week of ministry to teens and adults last week.  Praise God for His blessing each end every day.

Wednesday – Pray for our ministry in Greenville and for me as I visit our Campus Life club this afternoon.

Thursday – Pray for our Teen Parents ministry that reaches out to young moms and their children.

Friday – Praise God for all the incredible opportunities He gives us each day to share His hope with non-Christians.

Saturday – Today, The Edge, hosts a regional climbing competition.  Praise God for all the volunteers who will be helping us host this event.

Sunday – Praise God for His sustaining power. 

Monday – Pray for our upcoming Step By Step fund raiser (June 9) to be a great financial success to help us end the school year in the black.
