Prayer Requests for the week of March 27 - April 2, 2012

Tuesday – Pray for John Richmond and myself as we will be meeting from 9-2 today on how best to use our gifts to lead this ministry and look for ways to continue to be effective in youth ministry throughout the Capital Region.

Wednesday – Pray for our staff as we gather this morning for our weekly staff meeting.

Thursday – Pray for our office staff as they work on the day to day details that keep our ministry moving forward.

Friday – Pray for my time in Vermont today and as I hang out at our Cambridge ministry site this evening.

Saturday – Ask God to provide through His people the monies needed to finish the new facility in Halfmoon.

Sunday – Praise God for financial blessings He provides through His people each month to YFC.

Monday – Pray for our ministry to teen moms and their children today. Ask God to add to our staff and volunteer team.

Prayer Requests for the week of March 20-26, 2012

Tuesday – Pray for my meeting with Sherri Hvizdak this afternoon as we continue to plan ways to increase the effectiveness of our ministry to teens in Greenville.

Wednesday – Praise God for the time Ray and I had at the youth leader retreat this past weekend. God was lifted up and each of us were challenged to live more authentically with and for Jesus.

Thursday – Praise God for my time last week with YFC executive directors from Upstate NY. Pray for these men and women as they are in key leadership roles in their communities.

Friday – Pray for our out-reach ministries in Cambridge and East Dorset. Pray for the meetings being held with teens tonight in both of these communities.

Saturday – Ask God to provide through His people the monies needed to finish the new facility in Halfmoon.

Sunday – Praise God for financial blessings He provides through His people each month to YFC.

Monday – Pray for our City Life ministry and the weekly out-reach meetings that take place on Monday nights called The Jump Off. Praise God for the volunteer team He is building to work alongside our staff team.

Prayer Requests and Praises for March 13-19, 2012

Tuesday – Please pray for the Schenectady ministry staff team as we gather this morning to seek the Lord for His directions for our City Life and Teen Parents ministry in Schenectady over the next few years.

Wednesday – Pray for our staff team as we celebrate and debrief our 2 conferences, Break Out and Excel 2012. Pray for new ideas as start planning the conferences for 2013.

Thursday – Pray for my travel to and from the Syracuse area as I go to meet with Executive Directors from YFC chapters in NY State.

Friday –Pray for Ray Lightcap who will be leading the main teaching session at a youth leader retreat tonight at Christ the King Spiritual Life Center.

Saturday – Pray for me as I lead a session this morning at this youth leaders retreat. Pray for our time with area youth leaders that are attending this event.

Sunday – Praise God for what He accomplished in the hearts of teens while at Break Out last weekend. An overwhelming response from these 6-8^th graders was a desire to start spending more time reading their Bibles.

Monday – Pray for our ministry in the rural communities of Cambridge, East Dorset, Greenville and Berne-Knox-Westerlo.

Prayer Requests and Praises for March 6-12, 2012

Thank you for your prayers this past weekend, about 30 people attended the 3Story training led by Ray Lightcap and myself on Friday night and Saturday morning.

Tuesday, March 6 - Please keep praying for the Break Out middle school conference being held this weekend. Pray for our speaker, musicians, seminar leaders and work crew as well as the YFC staff. Pray for the youth leaders and middle school students in attendance. Pray for Dave who is the conference director.

Wednesday March 7 - Pray for ministry teams in Schenectady, Greenville, East Dorset, Berne-Knox-Westerlo and Cambridge. Pray for each area to see teens become life long followers of Jesus.

Thursday March 8 - Pray for wisdom and discernment and open doors into new communities for YFC here in the Capital Region.

Friday March 9 - Pray the the work crew setting up for Break Out this morning and into the early evening. Break Out kicks off tonight!

Saturday March 10 - Praise God with us as well start to see God work in the lives of His people while at Break Out.

Sunday March 11 - Praise God as He calls each of us to a deeper, more meaningful life with Him.

Monday March 12 - Pray for God to strengthen and revive our staff and volunteers after a physically demanding weekend at Break Out.
