Prayer Requests for the week of August 30-September 6, 2011

(8/30) Tuesday – Praise God for giving me safe travel to and from Maryland and safety during the earthquake last week.

Pray for those who have been impacted by Irene over the weekend.

(8/31) Wednesday – Pray for teachers, administrators and other school personnel as they prepare for a new school year.

(9/1) Thursday – Praise God for the work being accomplished on our new facility in Halfmoon.

(9/2) Friday – Praise God for opportunities He gives us to share our faith in those we know.

(9/3) Saturday – Pray for our YFC Board of Directors.

(9/4) Sunday – Praise God for all those who volunteer with YFC here in the greater Capital District.

(9/5) Monday – Praise God for all those who give financially to YFC so faithfully throughout the year.

(9/6) Tuesday – Pray for our City Life ministry team working with teens in Schenectady.

Prayer Requests for the week of August 23-29, 2011

(8/23) Tuesday – Pray for safe travel as I fly down to Baltimore this morning and then drive out with two other YFC staff to western Maryland for 48 hours of leadership training.

(8/24) Wednesday – Praise God for the kids that heard the Gospel last week at BlazeFest and for those who accepted Christ as Savior and Lord.

(8/25) Thursday – Pray for safe travel back home for me and the other participants in the leadership training.

(8/26) Friday – Praise God for His blessings each and every day.

(8/27) Saturday – Pray for good weather and safety as I spend the day at the ropes course.

(8/28) Sunday – Pray for me as I am preaching at my church this morning.

(8/29) Monday – Pray for my meeting with Sherri, who leads our ministry site in Greenville.

Prayer Requests for the week of August 16-22, 2011

(8/16) Tuesday – Pray for my meeting with the ministry team in Berne this evening.

(8/17) Wednesday – Pray for Blaze Fest happening this week in Schenectady.

(8/18) Thursday – Pray for good weather today as I help out on our ropes course with students and staff from South Colonie High School as part of “Bridges”, our Peer to Peer mentoring program.

Pray for my meeting with the ministry team in North Bennington this evening as we discuss ways to continue growing the ministry in this area. (This was postponed from last week)

(8/19) Friday – Continue to pray for the financial needs of this YFC chapter and for the money needed to finish the new building in Halfmoon.

(8/20) Saturday – Pray for our staff and volunteers who are working with teens with major struggles with drugs and alcohol.

(8/21) Sunday – Praise God for your church family and the leadership of your church today.

(8/22) Monday – Pray for good weather and a good day on the golf course for those taking part in our Golf Tournament today.

Prayer Requests for the week of August 10-15, 2011

(8/10) Wednesday – Praise God – Kelly and I had a fun filled vacation together.

Praise God for the very encouraging news on Chris’s battle with cancer last week.

Pray for my meeting with Tim this morning (Tim serves as our Juvenile Justice Director).

(8/11) Thursday – Pray for my meeting with the ministry team in North Bennington this evening as we discuss ways to continue growing the ministry in this area.

(8/12) Friday – Continue to pray for the financial needs of this YFC chapter and for the money needed to finish the new building in Halfmoon.

(8/13) Saturday – Continue to pray for our City Life ministry team as they prepare for Blaze Fest (hip hop camp) Aug 15-20.

(8/14) Sunday – Continue to pray for the board members and staff who are working on the details of our Golf Tournament scheduled for Monday, August 22.

(8/15) Monday – Pray for my meeting with the ministry team in Cambridge this evening as we discuss ways to continue growing the ministry in this area.
