Prayer Requests for February 1 - 7, 2011

(2/1/) Tuesday – Pray for $16,000 to come in during the month of February for the ministry budgets that I oversee (North Country, Teen Parents, Juvenile Justice, Helderberg/Greene, New Lebanon and Ministry Development)

(2/2) Wednesday – Pray for an additional $9,400 to come in this month to offset the budget defiecits from the first six months of the YFC ministry year for the Juvenile Justice budget and Ministry Development budget.

(2/3) Thursday – Continue to pray for the health of our volunteers, especially Margie who leads our volunteer team in New Lebanon

(2/4) Friday – Continue to pray for our ministries in Cambridge, NY, East Dorset and North Bennington, VT.

(2/5) Saturday – Continue to pray for our efforts to begin a basketball league for teens in the Arbor Hill community of Albany.

(2/6) Sunday – Pray for our ministry in Greenville and for our volunteers who lead this ministry.

(2/7) Monday – Pray for a great start for the new small group ministry in the Berne-Knox-Westerlo community that begins today.

Prayer Requests for January 25 - 31, 2011

(1/25) Tuesday – Pray for the health of our volunteers, especially Margie who leads our volunteer team in New Lebanon.

(1/26) Wednesday – Pray for our continued efforts to begin a small group ministry in the Berne-Knox-Westerlo community.

(1/27) Thursday – Pray for our continued efforts to reform our ministry team in regards to our Troy Teen Parents ministry.

(1/28) Friday – Pray for our ministries in Cambridge, NY, East Dorset and North Bennington, VT.

(1/29) Saturday – Pray for our efforts to begin a basketball league for teens in the Arbor Hill community of Albany.

(1/30) Sunday – Pray for me as I preach and share the ministry of YFC in South Cambridge this morning.

(1/31) Monday – Praise God for the continued great reports from youth leaders and teens who attended Excel 2011.

Prayer Requests January 18 - 24, 2011

(1/18) Tuesday – Pray for Dave and me for safe travel to Western Maryland this morning and for our ability to stay alert in the afternoon as we begin 2 days of leadership training. We have a 6AM flight to BWI and then A 21/2 hours drive to our destination. Pray that the conditions of the roads from the impending storm in NY and Maryland and the parts of WV we need to travel through will be clear.

(1/19) Wednesday – Pray for our staff team as we “recover” from the Excel Conference and for all the teens and youth leaders who attended this year.

(1/20) Thursday – Pray for Dave and I as we finish up our training in the morning and then head home (pray for good weather and a safe drive to the airport and a safe flight home).

(1/21) Friday – Pray for the Campus Life staff from around the nation who will be meeting via a phone conference this morning (11AM). (I will be on this call as well with a strong cup of coffee in my hand).

(1/22) Saturday – Pray for my meeting with the volunteers who lead our ministry in Cambridge this morning.

(1/23) Sunday – Pray for a good day of rest for me so I can enter the coming week feeling refreshed.

(1/24) Monday – Pray for my meeting this afternoon with the volunteers who will be beginning a small group ministry to teens in Berne soon.

Prayer Requests January 11 - 17, 2011

(1/11) Tuesday – Continue to pray for Dave Lenehan as he works on our Excel Conference (Jan 14 – 17) for high school youth groups. Pray for his ability to multi-task and manage many details.

(1/12) Wednesday – Pray for the people who will be part of the Excel Conference program team throughout the week

(1/13) Thursday – Pray for the team of people loading the u-haul this morning for Excel. Pray for good weather and strong backs.

(1/14) Friday – Pray for the team of volunteers and staff who are setting up for the Excel conference in the morning and afternoon. Pray for the Adult event and the start of the Excel Conference tonight.

(1/15) Saturday – Pray for the teens that are at Excel this weekend to grow in their relationship with Christ.

(1/16) Sunday – Pray for the youth leaders as they minister to the teens they brought to Excel.

(1/17) Monday – Pray for the final session of Excel this morning and for safety as the staff and volunteer team as they tear down after Excel is over.

Pray for Dave and me as we need to get up Tuesday morning for a 6AM flight to Baltimore.

Prayer Requests January 4 -10, 2011

Tuesday – Pray for Dave Lenehan as he works on our Excel Conference (Jan 14 – 17) for high school youth groups. Pray for his ability to multi-task and manage many details.

Wednesday – Pray for our YFC staff team as we meet this morning for a staff meeting.

Thursday – Pray for my meeting today concerning starting a sports ministry for teens in Albany.

Friday – Pray for our ministry to teens in Cambridge that meets tonight.

Saturday – Pray for the office staff of YFC as they attend to the multitude of details that keep our ministry moving forward.

Sunday – Pray for the continued spiritual growth of each of our staff and volunteers.

Monday – Pray for our ministry to teens in Schenectady that meets tonight for YFC’s weekly outreach event.
