(12/22) Thursday – Pray for our Teen Parents ministry, for our staff and volunteers and for the teens and young adults that need to know Jesus as Savior and Lord.

(12/23) Friday – Pray for our Cambridge Campus Life ministry, for our volunteers and for the teens that need to know Jesus as Savior and Lord.

(12/24) Saturday – Pray for family and friends who need to know Jesus as Savior. Pray that this Christmas will be life changing because they say YES to Jesus.

(12/25) Sunday – Praise God for giving us His Son!!!!!!!!!

(12/26) Monday – Pray for our Berne-Knox-Westerlo Campus Life ministry, for our staff and volunteers. For the teens who need to know Jesus as Savior and Lord.

December 27, 2011 – January 2, 2012

(12/27) Tuesday – Pray for our Juvenile Justice Ministry here in the Capital Region. We are about to go through a transition in leadership with this ministry. Pray for us to rely on God during our search for a new staff person for this ministry.

(12/28) Wednesday – We have a few people interested in joining our staff here at Capital District YFC. Pray for us to trust God on the timing and resources for each person involved in these decisions.

(12/29) Thursday – Pray for our East Dorset Campus Life ministry, for our staff and volunteers. For the teens who need to know Jesus as Savior and Lord.

(12/30) Friday – Pray for our Excel Conference for high school students coming in just a few weeks. Pray for Dave Lenehan as our Conference Director.

(12/31) Saturday – Praise God for all His blessings and for helping us through our troubles this past year

(1/1) Sunday – Praise God for allowing us to start a new year with Him.

(1/2) Monday – Praise God for how He blessed YFC through the generous giving of His people.

YFC reaches young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other like minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to the Word of God and prayer, passion for sharing the love of Christ and commitment to social involvement.

(12/13) Tuesday – Pray for John and Chris Richmond. For John as he continues to heal from his broken foot and for Chris in her battle with cancer.

(12/14) Wednesday – Pray for the efforts to establish a Community Support Team for the communities in and near Clifton Park.

(12/15) Thursday – Pray for my meeting with a group of Christian adults who are interested in starting a YFC Teen Parents ministry in the Mechanicville community.

(12/16) Friday – Pray for our ministry to teens in the Cambridge community.

(12/17) Saturday – Pray for the ministry we have in Greenville. This morning a group of us are gathering to pray for this community.

(12/18) Sunday – Pray for the financial support of CD YFC. December is typically a great giving month to this ministry. Pray for those considering giving a year end gift to YFC and praise God for those who have already given.

(11/29) Tuesday – Pray for the pastors in the Brunswick community as they gather for lunch and prayer at noon today.

(11/30) Wednesday – Pray for the YFC staff as we come together for our staff meeting this morning.

(12/1) Thursday – Pray for the pastor’s of Troy as some of them gather this morning at 8AM to pray for the city of Troy.

(12/2) Friday – Pray for the financial needs of this ministry. Most department budgets are behind where they need to be at this time of year.

(12/3) Saturday – Give praise to God for the hundreds of people who are faithfully giving to CD YFC so that young people will hear the truth of the Gospel.

(12/4) Sunday – Pray for the teens in your community that caught up in drug and alcohol use to deal with the pain in their lives.

(12/5) Monday – Give praise to God for all the opportunities He gives the CD YFC staff and volunteers to share Jesus with teenagers through out the greater Capital Region.

(11/22) Tuesday – Praise God for three wonderful banquets in our new building in Halfmoon this past week. Praise God for The Edge Halfmoon climbing gym being able to open today for business from 2-9PM.

(11/23) Wednesday – Praise God for the prayer teams that have been meeting or just started meeting in East Dorset, VT, Greenville and Cambridge, NY. Praise God that a prayer team will begin soon in Berne.

(11/24) Thursday – Praise and thank God for all the blessing in your life.

(11/25) Friday –Pray for our staff and volunteers as they invest into the lives of non-Christian teens to lead them to Jesus.

Prayer Requests for the week of November 15 - 21, 2011

Praise God! – We got a temporary certificate of occupancy for our new building in Halfmoon on Friday afternoon, so we were able to have our 1^st banquet on Sunday afternoon. Thanks for all your prayers.

(11/15) Tuesday – Pray for my meeting with a pastor from the Cambridge community today at 1PM as we talk about our anti-bullying program, “Point Break” and how to get this incredible program to high school students in the Cambridge school district.

(11/16) Wednesday – Our goal is to open the climbing gym to the public this coming Monday (Nov 21). Pray that this will happen.

(11/17) Thursday – Our second of three banquets is this evening starting at 5:30 PM. Pray for a great turn out, good weather and hearts to be soften to the need of youth needing Jesus and the ministry of YFC.

(11/18) Friday – Continue to pray for our office staff who are working on all the detail work for the banquets (Nov 13, 17 and 20). Pray for our staff and volunteers (and their families) to remain (or to get) healthy.

(11/19) Saturday – Pray for the Greenville YFC/Campus Life prayer meeting this morning from 8-9AM at the town library. We will be praying for the teens of this community, the financial needs to grow this ministry in Greenville as well as for more volunteers.

(11/20) Sunday – Our third and final banquet is scheduled for this afternoon starting at 1PM. Pray for a great turn out, good weather and hearts to be soften to the need of youth needing Jesus and the ministry of YFC.

(10/4) Tuesday – Praise God for a great conference this past weekend and for safe travel. Pray that we take the challenge of learning to surrender to Christ to heart as we enter back into our daily schedules.

(10/5) Wednesday – Pray for our staff as we paint part of the new building today.

(10/6) Thursday – Pray for Tom Beebe who works for us in East Dorset, VT in reaching out to teens. We need volunteers to partner with Tom so our ministry can grow.

(10/7) Friday – Pray for our weekly meetings with students in Cambridge and for our volunteers who work with the teens and for those whose are on our community prayer team.

(10/8) Saturday – Pray for wisdom for me as I pray through how best to help some ministry sites that are struggling to begin weekly out reach to teens.

(8/24) Wednesday – Praise God for the kids that heard the Gospel last week at BlazeFest and for those who accepted Christ as Savior and Lord.

(7/19) Tuesday – Pray for meeting with our ministry team in New Lebanon tonight as we plan for the new school year of ministry.

(7/20) Wednesday – Pray once again for the staff of YFC as we meet with one of our regional staff (Howard Lucy) about how we can continue to support John and Chris Richmond in picking up some of their responsibilities to alleviate their workload during this challenging time in their life. (This is our second meeting – last week’s meeting went very well)

(7/21) Thursday – Praise God that John’s foot surgery went well last Thursday. Continue to pray for his recovery over the next few weeks. Please also continue to pray for Chris as she fights the cancer in her body. (Chris received her second chemo treatment last Thursday).

Pray for my meeting with the ministry team in North Bennington this evening as we discuss ways we continue growing the ministry in this area.

(7/12) Tuesday – Pray for meeting with our ministry team in Berne tonight as we plan for the new school year of ministry.

(7/13) Wednesday – Pray for the staff of YFC as we meet with one of our regional staff (Howard Lucy) about how we can continue to support John and Chris Richmond in picking up some of their responsibilities to alleviate their workload during this challenging time in their life.

(7/14) Thursday – John Richmond’s foot surgery is scheduled for today. Pray that his foot is healed enough so that he can have this surgery today; the surgery goes well and for a good recovery for John in the weeks to come.

Pray for my meeting with Sherri Hvizdak this afternoon as we talk through adding to the ministry team in Greenville and how to best minister to the teens in that community.

(7/15) Friday – Pray for the staff that serves on the Campus Life Regional Team with me. We have a conference call this afternoon to continue to find ways to support and encourage the Campus Life staff and volunteers in the Eastern Region of the US.

(7/7) Thursday – Continue to pray for Chris and John Richmond. They are on a family vacation for about a week. Pray for a great time with family making lasting great memories.

(7/8) Friday – Pray for Steve Prettyman as he is on a trip in Maine with teens who have at least one parent in the military. Pray for this time away to enjoy the outdoors and engage with the Creator.

Please continue to pray for Chris and John Richmond. Chris has stage four lung cancer even though she has never smoked. John broke his foot in a motorcycle accident.

(6/28) Tuesday – Pray for my time in East Dorset, VT with Tom Beebe as we discuss the summer and 2011-2012 school year ministry goals for Cambridge, East Dorset and North Bennington ministry sites.

(6/29) Wednesday – Pray for the staff of CD YFC as we gather this morning for our staff meeting.

(6/30) Thursday – Praise God for giving me safe travel to and from Syracuse and PA during the past 2 weeks. Praise God for those productive meetings and deepened relationships with staff within the Eastern Region of YFC.

(7/1) Friday – Today begins the start of a new fiscal year for YFC. Pray that God will provide the monies and other resources needed to continue pushing forward in ministry to unsaved teens.

(7/2) Saturday – Pray for three to five Christian adults to join the ministry in New Lebanon this summer.

(7/3) Sunday – Pray for the teens who accepted Christ this past school year. Pray for them to seek discipleship in their Christian growth.

(7/4) Monday – Pray for our nation’s and state’s leaders (political, business and church). Pray that each would submit to God’s way of leadership.

(7/5) Tuesday – Pray for new funding to come in for our building project in Halfmoon. Praise God for what has been and is happening in seeing this new facility become a reality.

Prayer Requests for June 14 - 27, 2011 (2 weeks)

Please continue to pray for Chris and John Richmond. Chris has stage four lung cancer even though she has never smoked. John broke his foot in a motorcycle accident and has a second surgery scheduled for Friday the 17^th.

Also, continue to pray for the monthly financial needs of YFC.

Week of June 14 – 20, 2011

(6/14) Tuesday – Praise God for a good restful vacation for me.

Pray for our office staff as they work so hard in keeping everything moving forward in our ministry.

(6/15) Wednesday – Pray for me as I lead staff meeting this morning and take part in a webinar (seminar on the web) this afternoon.

(6/16) Thursday – Pray for safety as I drive to and from the Syracuse area for a meeting with YFC Executive Directors in upstate NY. (This is a meeting John usually goes to, I am filling in for him).

(6/17) Friday – Pray for my time with Matt (over the phone) this morning. Matt is an YFC staff member who ministers in Maryland. I am serving as a mentor for him as he begins his 2^nd year of ministry with YFC.

(6/18) Saturday – Pray for Tom Beebe who is our part time staff person in Vermont. Pray for Tom as he reaches out to the teens in East Dorset, Vermont and works with our volunteers in Cambridge, NY and North Bennington, VT.

(6/19) Sunday – Pray for our board of directors as they serve a vital role in our efforts to reach teens for Christ.

(6/20) Monday – Pray for me as I drive down to PA for the Campus Life Regional Team meeting which starts at noon today and ends on Wed at noon.

Week of June 21 – 27, 2011

(6/21) Tuesday – Pray for me as I take part in the Campus Life Regional Team meeting. Pray for the other staff that are with me from around the Eastern Region and the YFC/USA staff who are leading us in this 3 day meeting.

(6/22) Wednesday – Pray for traveling mercies as I head home this afternoon from PA.

(6/23) Thursday – Pray for the teens as they finish up their school year and transition to their summer schedules and activities.

(6/24) Friday – Pray for the parents of the teens in this time of transitions from school to summer break.

(6/25) Saturday – Pray for our school teachers and administrators and staff as they enter the summer months.

(6/26) Sunday – Pray for the spiritual health of our pastors.

(6/27) Monday – Praise God for another school year of ministry and seeing teens come to Christ and grow in their love for God.
