Prayer Requests for December 28, 2010 – January 3, 2011

During this week I am asking that each of us take 5 minutes each day and focus on the character of God. Then pray for those people in your life who need to know that part of God so they will fully commit to Him in how they live each and every day.

Thank you for your prayers for the ministry of Capital District Youth for Christ throughout the year.

Prayer Requests for December 21 - 27, 2010

(12/21) Tuesday – Continue to pray for new volunteers to join the Troy Teen Parents team. We need more people in get actively involved in order to continue this ministry to pregnant and teen moms in the Troy area.


(12/22) Wednesday – Continue to pray for the health of the volunteers in New Lebanon especially for Margie and Barb. We have had to cancel several days at the Youth House due to volunteers being sick.

(12/23) Thursday – Continue to pray for the Horsemanship ministry happening in North Bennington. Pray specifically for the health of the horses.


(12/24) Friday – Pray for family and friends who do not know Jesus as Lord and Savior.


(12/25) Saturday – Praise God for the gift of Jesus all day today.


(12/26) Sunday – Continue to pray for God to provide the financial resources needed to keep this ministry moving forward.


(12/27) Monday – Pray for the adult volunteers preparing to start a new Campus Life ministry in the Berne-Knox-Westerlo community in 2011.

Prayer Requests and Praises for December 14 - 20, 2010

(12/14) Tuesday – Pray for a good turn out for my meeting in Berne tonight as we continue to work on launching a new ministry in this community.


(12/15) Wednesday – Pray for the Schenectady Teen Parents ministry as the staff and volunteers prepare for the Christmas party tomorrow night.


(12/16) Thursday – Pray for new volunteers to join the Troy Teen Parents team. We are currently down to two volunteers and we need more people in get actively involved in order to continue this ministry to pregnant and teen moms in the Troy area.

(12/20) Monday – Praise God for the work being done on the new building in Halfmoon and pray for continued good weather and safety for the people working on this new ministry facility.

(12/7) Tuesday – Pray for my meeting with a pastor in Cambridge this morning.

(12/8) Wednesday – Pray for time with teens attending our Point Break program today.

(12/9) Thursday – Pray for my meeting with the Troy Teen Parent volunteers tonight.

(12/10) Friday – Pray for my appointment with a potential volunteer this morning.

(12/11) Saturday – Pray for my meeting with the Cambridge volunteers this morning.

(12/12) Sunday – Pray for your family and friends who do not know Jesus.

(12/13) Monday – Pray for our volunteer ministry team in New Lebanon and for the teens they are ministering to each week.
