Prayer Requests for September 28 – October 4, 2010

(9/28) Tuesday – Pray for the success of our banquets coming in November (7, 11 and 14^th).

(9/29) Wednesday – Pray for the continued financial needs of chapter. Praise God for the $7,782 that came so far for the ministry departments that I oversee. Pray for the additional $20,818 to come in this month to meet budgeted expenses for the month and to eliminate the summer deficits.

(9/30) Thursday – Praise God for another great Paint Ball Retreat. One young man who is not a Christian took on a challenge to memorize one scripture verse. Praise God for the first steps of faith.

(10/1) Friday – Pray for the teens going through our Point Break program today.

(10/2) Saturday – Pray for the teens going through our Point Break program today.

(10/3) Sunday – Pray for my time at First Baptist Church in Ballston Spa today.

(10/4) Monday – Pray for the teens that will be going through our Challenge Course today.

Prayer Requests for September 21 - 27, 2010

(9/21) Tuesday – Pray for our staff as we meet this morning for our weekly staff meeting.

(9/22) Wednesday – Pray for our ministry in Greenville as our volunteers meet this afternoon with the teens.

(9/23) Thursday – Pray for our ministry in New Lebanon as they run J-Café for juniors and seniors this morning before school and meet with 7-12^th graders in the afternoon at the Youth House.

(9/24) Friday – Pray for the Paintball Boot Camp retreat starting tonight at Good Tiding Camp in the Catskills.

Prayer Requests for September 14-20, 2010

(9/14) Tuesday – Pray for the Excel 2011 Conference coming this January. Pray for Dave Lenehan as he speaks to a group of leaders tonight about having them bring their youth groups to Excel to January.

(9/15) Wednesday – Pray for my meeting with Steve and Tim as we review the Point Break program and make the necessary changes in order to present this program to teens in juvenile detention centers.

(9/16) Thursday – Pray for the YFC staff around the nation who are working on providing on-going training for us in YFC.

(9/17) Friday – Pray for the financial needs of Capital District YFC. Praise God for those who faithfully give each month.

(9/18) Saturday – Pray for the Bennington Family Block party at Grace Christian School from noon to 6 today. Pray for the YFC team from North Bennington that will be on hand to give horse rides and for those of us who will be there to lend a helping hand where needed.

(9/19) Sunday – Pray for your pastor and your church’s leadership today. Thank God that we can worship Him in freedom.

(9/20) Monday – Pray for our City Life ministries in Schenectady as they kickoff their weekly outreach for the school year tonight.

Prayer Request for Sept 8 - 13, 2010

This week's prayer request is for the financial need of Capital District YFC. I am asking that you pray each day for $28,600 to come in during September 2010. This amount is how much is needed to meet September 2010 budgeted expenses for each ministry area that I supervise as well as cover the deficit we have going into September 2010 due to low giving during July and August 2010.

That amount does not include the budget needs of the ministries that I do not supervise. Please be in prayer for all the money to come in to completely erase any summer deficits for the entire chapter.

Each of our staff, volunteers and board members are grateful to you for lifting up our financial needs to our Lord this week.
