Prayer Requests for May 18 – 31, 2010

(5/18) Tuesday – Please continue to pray that an additional $15,000 to come in beyond our overall chapter’s expenses this month for two of our ministry departments that have a current budget deficit.

Praise God that He continues to provide for our needs regardless of discouraging financial reports.


(5/19) Wednesday – Pray for our staff as we meet this morning for our staff meeting.

Praise God for a very successful presentation at Third Pres in Toy this past Sunday. Praise God for those who are interested in volunteering with YFC.


(5/20) Thursday – Pray for pastors and ministry leaders as we gather at Christ the King Spiritual Life Center today for a time of prayer.


(5/21) Friday – Pray for our ministry to Teen Moms in Troy and Schenectady.

Pray for our ministry in Cambridge, ask God to send us more volunteers so we can more effectively reach more teens with the Gospel.


(5/22) Saturday – Pray for our ministry in North Bennington and East Dorset, VT. Praise God for Tom Beebe and his volunteers who run these ministries.


(5/23) Sunday – Pray for me as travel to Maryland today and for Kelly while I am away this week.


(5/24) Monday – Pray for me and the other YFC staff who serve on the Campus Life Regional Team as we work on the growth of this ministry today.


(5/25) Tuesday – Pray for Dave Lenehan as he travels to Maryland to join me and others as we begin our third leadership training session today.


(5/26) Wednesday – Pray for our ministry in New Lebanon. Pray for endurance for the volunteers as they continue in ministry.


(5/27) Thursday – Pray for safe travel home for all of us that were at the Leadership Training session the past three days.


(5/28) Friday – Pray for our efforts to begin ministry at Berkshire Boys Farm. Praise God for the team of volunteers He has raised up for that ministry site.


(5/29) Saturday – Pray for the Step By Step walk being held next Saturday. Pray for those who are raising money to walk to reach teens for Christ.


(5/30) Sunday – Pray for the leadership of your church and for families are going through difficult times.


(5/31) Monday – Pray for those who have or will be losing their jobs in the near future.

Prayer Requests for May 11-17, 2010

Thank you for your continued prayers!

(5/11) Tuesday – Pray that an additional $15,000 to come in beyond our overall chapter’s expenses this month for two of our ministry departments that have a current budget deficit.

Praise God that He continues to provide for our needs regardless of discouraging financial reports.

(5/12) Wednesday – Praise God for the opportunities He is giving us to present Point Break and Gotcha Back programs in our public schools. (These are our suicide prevention/anti-bullying programs)

(5/13) Thursday – Pray for a great day with teens from Schenectady as we lead them through our Challenge Course today.

Praise God for how He provided this amazing resource to use to extend our reach into our communities.

(5/14) Friday – Pray for the staff working on YFC banquets being held in three different locations in Nov. (Troy (7th), Colonie (11th) and Scotia (14th))

(5/15) Saturday – Pray for our volunteers who invest into the lives of teens. Pray for them and their families to be protected from the attacks of our enemy.

(5/16) Sunday – Pray for me as I give an update on YFC at Third Presbyterian Church in Troy this morning. Give thanks to God for their faithful financial support of YFC.

(5/17) Monday – Pray for our ministry to teens in North Bennington, VT. Praise God for the plans He has laid on Tom Beebe and his volunteers to expand their ministry to teens in the surrounding communities.

Prayer Requests for May 4-10, 2010

(5/4) Tuesday – Pray for the YFC staff that we would all keep our daily time with God a high priority in our schedules.

(5/5) Wednesday – Pray for our Schenectady Teen Parents staff team as they meet this afternoon to discuss ways to reach more teen girls.

(5/6) Thursday – Pray for our nation as today is the National day of Prayer. Thank God for the freedoms as believers we still have in this country.

Pray also for the Point Break workshop today with teens from Colonie.

(5/7) Friday – Pray for me as I take a spiritual day away today.

(5/8) Saturday – Pray for my meeting this morning with the Cambridge volunteers. Praise God for their commitment to keep this ministry going.

(5/9) Sunday – Pray for the financial needs of each ministry in CDYFC. Pray for current donors who are in the position to increase their giving and for new donors to join our ministry support teams.

(5/10) Monday – Pray for our ministry in New Lebanon to middle and high school students. Pray for the health and protection of the volunteers who lead the ministry in this community.
