Prayer Requests for September 29 – October 5

(9/29) Tuesday – Pray for me as I work on the YFC web-based reporting system called IMPACT all day today. Pray that I will be able to stay focused on this task and not get sidetracked with other projects.

(9/30) Wednesday – Pray for the Point Break (Suicide prevention/ Anti-bullying) program we are holding for teens from Schenectady schools today.

(10/1) Thursday – Pray for God to send more volunteers to serve in all of our on-going ministries of YFC.

(10/2) Friday – Pray for the finances of Capital District YFC. Ask God what He wants you to give beyond what you are already giving and for more Christian adults to give on a regular schedule to this ministry.

(10/3) Saturday – Pray for Steve and me as we lead a group through the Challenge Course today. Pray for good weather, safety and teachable moments.

(10/4) Sunday – Pray for Tom, Ruth, Janine and me as we travel to the Eastern States YFC Regional Staff Conference this afternoon. (Ruth and Janine will be traveling back in Monday afternoon and Tom and I will come back Tuesday afternoon).

(10/5) Monday – Pray for God to continue to encourage and equip the staff and volunteers in all the YFC chapters in the Eastern Region.

(9/22) Tuesday – Pray for the planning/prayer meeting with the volunteer team for our New Lebanon ministry this morning at 6:30.

Pray for the CD YFC Board Meeting tonight that starts at 5:30 PM.

(9/23) Wednesday - Pray for the Christian teens who stood at their flag poles this morning seeking God’s face for their friends, school, community and nation.

(9/24) Thursday – Pray for Tim Hvizdak and me as we meet with some adults about starting a Campus Life ministry in the Berne-Knox-Westerlo community this evening.

(9/25) Friday – Pray for the second of about ten Point Break (Suicide prevention/ Anti-bullying) programs we are holding for teens from Schenectady High School.

(9/26) Saturday – Pray for the Troy Teen Parents volunteer training session scheduled for today from 9-3. (Postponed from 2 weeks ago).

(9/28) Monday – Pray for all financial deficits in each ministry department budget from low giving over the summer to be overcome by the out pouring of giving during this month.

(9/15) Tuesday – Pray for the prayer meeting with the volunteer team for our New Lebanon ministry this morning at 6:30.

(9/16) Wednesday – Pray for Sherri Hvizdak as she leads the Campus Life ministry in Greenville and for our meeting tonight.

(9/17) Thursday – Pray for Dave Lenehan as he continues to work on putting together all the pieces of our Excel 2010 Conference to be held in Jan.

(9/18) Friday – Pray for the first of about ten Point Break (anti-bulling) programs we are holding for teens from Schenectady High School.

(9/19) Saturday – Pray for the team of adults (of which I am a part of) leading our biggest group yet through our Challenge Course today. Pray for Steve Prettyman as he oversees and manages the Challenge Course.

(9/20) Sunday – Pray for my time at the Challenge Course with teens and adults from my church this afternoon.

(9/8) Tuesday – Pray for safety as Steve Prettyman and I lead a group through the challenge course (ropes course) this morning.

Pray for my meeting with a potential volunteer for our New Lebanon ministry this afternoon.

(9/9) Wednesday – Pray for the staff of Capital District YFC as we gather today for our first staff meeting after a very full summer of ministry.

Pray for my meeting with Tom Beebe this afternoon as we put together our goals for the Fall and Winter months. Tom leads our ministry in Vermont.

(9/10) Thursday – Pray for my meeting with the New Lebanon volunteers as we choose a curriculum and plan the schedule for the new school year of ministry.

(9/11) Friday – Pray for Dave Lenehan as he continues to work on putting together all the pieces of our Excel 2010 Conference to be held in Jan.

(9/12) Saturday – Pray for me as I teach the Troy Teen Parents volunteers as we spend the day together going through the first official training meeting.

(9/13) Sunday – Pray for me as I preach at Connecting Point Church in East Greenbush.
